Abdul-Rahmaan I. Muhammad is the visionary Executive Director and Founder of My People Clinical Services, a pioneering organization established on March 5, 2005. Under his leadership, My People Clinical Services has become a beacon of comprehensive therapeutic and non-therapeutic support, offering a diverse range of services and programs. At the core of the organization's philosophy lies its mission: "To enable My People to help Your People so that Our People will succeed." Muhammad is also at the helm of the non-profit wing, My People Community Services.


A dynamic and accomplished speaker, program developer, and trainer, Muhammad has delivered impactful keynote addresses. Among his notable achievements is the creation of The Manhood Tree Program. This innovative initiative consists of four key components: The Manhood Tree Group, the Fatherhood Manologues, Men’s Health is Community Health, and an engaging podcast. Together, these elements focus on the vital stages of "hoods": neighborhood, boyhood, young adulthood, brotherhood, fatherhood, and manhood.


Muhammad serves as one of the Tri-Chairs for the Statewide Fatherhood Engagement Leadership Team, demonstrating his commitment to advancing fatherhood engagement, inclusion, and equity. His influence extends statewide, providing training for the Department of Children and Families (DCF) across its 16 offices.


Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Tougaloo College and a Master of Social Work degree from Clark-Atlanta University. He is a brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and an active member of The National Association of Black Social Workers. Muhammad's dedication to empowering communities and fostering positive change is evident in his multifaceted contributions to the field.
